ok on my parts car. the guy i bought it off of said he pulled a 302 out of it. but on the vin tag on a website said its was born with a 2.3L. and i was told it has a 8.8 in it. i compare my 7.5 to the one on the 89 and the rear end in the 89 the pumkin and axles housing are larger than mine on the 80. and i took a couple pics so...

what does everyone run for a rear end and what gear ratio i run a stock 10 bolt with a posi unit and 4.88 gears.

gonna start on my rear end soon its getting moser 9in ends, and axle tubes welded along with the braces for the tubes and the rear girdle cover....but internally im a little stuck i am going 456 gear but cant decide what to use for axles and a center....i do have a 31spline posi sitting here but wondering i...

A great thanks to Kevin. He installed my 3.73's, carbon fiber clutch packs, pulleys, replaced tie rods and idler pulley. Spent the day there Sunday and let him go to work. He did a great job, not a single whine or noise from the rearend and car is straight as an arrow without an alignment! His price...

ive searched all over and cant get a definate answer.. ive got an 86 monte carlo LS and need to know which rear end was used in that car? i know it only pulls one leggers,and it sucks.but if its a 373 i can get something for posi correct?
