I'm basically looking for a wrenching buddy. Honestly, I don't know how to do a motor swap or body work. But, I have no problem learning. I have a 400 sq-ft garage in Wakefield, MA, in a residential neighborhood. I also have about a $1000 that I can put towards this business/hobby to kick it off.
I have an 86 Camaro and an 80 Vette. But, I don’t want to sell my cars. What I want to do is find somebody local that knows how to work on these types of cars. Together, we search craigslist, ebay, Summit, Jegs, thirdgen/burnoutbox classifieds or what ever it takes for good deals on cars and parts. Then we buy them, fix them up, clean them up and sell them. I work during the day, mon-fri. So, this would be an after work and on weekends thing.
Let me know what you think of the idea. I’m hoping to learn something about fixing cars and maybe even make a few bucks to put towards my rides.
