Greetings from Sunny Londonderry, NH

Hi guys, newbie to this board, but it looks to be a great site. I found my name here on a google search looking for something else! Apparently Hamar and bonz know me? I've figured out who Hal is, now I gotta work on Bonz!

My profile says it all, hot rodder since high school, and just can't get it out of my blood. My son has the bug too. He doesn't have a license yet, but he's learning to drive in a '65 Chey Step-side mounted on a '78 K-20 chassis. Just made his first mods with my help. Truck came with a mild 350 w/an edelbrock manifold and carb, now it's sporting headers and duals!

Thanks for letting me on board.

Paul D.

Ahhhh.... Now I know who that is, Kerry R. He was a high school/college friend of mine's younger brother. Caught up with him via email a while back and he sent me the video of the Mustang.

I think he was about 8 years younger, but always loved the hot rods. He was in his brother '64 Nova with us the night I got my first ticket! The Nova had a 350 and a 4 spd and was jacked to the sky in the front for drag racing. I took it around a corner on two wheels and the cop spent about a half hour writing me up in another friends driveway!disbelief

Here are a few bad pics from my Droid. The '68 still looks the same. The pics of my son's truck are from before we bought it, so we've made it look and run significantly better over the past two months!

Yeah, I'll think about the build-up thread.

We're still talking about the truck.

It needs fenders and doors, so while we're at it, may change the paint colors. He thinks black and silver, I kinda like the "period correct" colors.

We just added headers. In the spring we are gonna pull the 350 and replace the internals. I have a set of KB hypereutectics that I never used, and a littlle hotter Comp Cam. Along with a set of Dart Iron Eagles, it ought to wake up the performance a bit.

The boy wants to put a 4" suspension lift on it in addition to the 4" body lift it's already got, but I worry about the reliability of the shafts at that point!

Daughter going off to college next fall, so we'll see how far we get before the tree in the back yard runs outta $$!! :)
